5. If you’re sick do not leave home

One of the golden rules of the CDC to deal with the A H1N1 is to stay home. Sick children should not go to school the same applies to adults.

The CDC recommends waiting at least 24 hours after no longer present a high fever without having to take medicine.

6. For emergency only if …

The CDC suggests observing the symptoms before going to the emergency.

Children:

• Very fast breathing or trouble breathing.
• Face pale.
• Severe or persistent vomiting.
• Do not lift or interact.
• Irritable, not even want to be held.
• The flu symptoms improve but then return with fever and cough.

For adults:

• Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath, pain or tightness in the chest or abdomen.
• Sudden dizziness or confusion.
• Severe or persistent vomiting.
• Have a fever for more than three days is another sign of care.

7. Do not be overcome by panic

Influenza A H1N1 is a pandemic, but it is controlled, although this may change. Health officials have predicted more severe cases of influenza and have also detected that the virus can change and become stronger. Even so, you should not be alarmist.
