Natural Remedies for Liver
Most of the liver are caused by excesses at the table or inconsiderate libations. So do not be confused with jaundice and other forms of hepatitis, real diseases whose treatment is the sole responsibility of the physician.
Being frequent these ailments, every family has his or her “recipes” to solve them. We’re not going to list them all here for. We accordingly confine some simple preparations whose effect is undeniable.
- Browse on a lemon, unpeeled, cut into rounds, one liter of boiling water, leave to infuse, sweeten with honey if possible. Drink warm.
This treatment can be continued for several days without problems provided that the precaution is taken to prepare the infusion daily. - Make a decoction with the woody stem of an artichoke and the first leaves that protect it. Allow to cool and drink a good reason liter a day.
- Do marinate for about fifteen days the stem, leaves and roots of an artichoke in half a liter of brandy. Strain and keep the liquid thus obtained in a cool place protected from light. In every crisis, given the rate of six to ten drops several times a day, a cup of tea or mint tea.
- Make an infusion with a handful of Boldo (available in all health food stores) to one liter of water. Abundant sugars infusion highly flavored with honey or mixed with other teas to combat the bitterness of the plant.
Some teas boldo based, ready-to-use trade have been launched with great media machine. They might be practical but, unfortunately, their industrial preparation and packaging and storage, waste of his main qualities to plants that compose them. Anyway, it is true that regular consumption of such infusions can not do any harm and is even preferable to coffee or tea. But do not expect spectacular results from them. - Make an infusion with a pinch of dried mint in a cup of boiling water. Very sugary drink after each meal.
- “The infusion of flowers of” cat feet “(sold in health food stores) clears the gland regulates the liver and bile secretion. It is therefore recommended, at a rate of about one liter a day, in cases of acute crisis.
- Boil 100 grams of fresh thistle, with its roots in a liter of water for 5 minutes, leave to infuse for about fifteen minutes, strain and drink at two or three cups between meals.
