HoneyHoney is the first natural sweetener used by man. The Greeks knew of its antiseptic, sedative, tonic and diuretic and Egyptian vessels were found more than 2000 years old full of honey. There are even cave paintings that refer to their use.

Honey is a fluid produced by bees from the nectar of flowers, or as in the case of honey oak, secretions of the plants themselves, or even secretions produced by other insects that feed on such plants.

The bees collect this nectar, dehydrated to prevent fermentation and add some enzymes. Once processed honey, deposited in the cells of honeycomb seals for conservation. This, together with pollen of flowers which is also found, is the staple food of the entire hive.

As we see, the process is completely natural, without that man is part of it. It is from this point involved: the beekeeper collects the combs of hives, and removing the shell that protects a liquid gets thick and sticky honeycomb with a pump, using centrifugal force. Is only filtered and bottled for distribution.

Clearly, although the process itself involved only bees, beekeeping is a technique that extends from the manufacture of artificial panels, control population of bees, pest control, etc, until the harvest of honey and processed.
