What is Maitake?

What is Maitake ?
Maitake is a mushroom that grows in northern Japan, although it can be found in parts of Europe.
His appearance is that of a fan-shaped mushroom that commonly grows on the bark of trees. Its color is white, becoming darker as it approaches its extremities.
Its name refers to its shape, which is very similar to the body of a butterfly. Maitake means “dancing mushroom.”
